Originally from Florida, Theresa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Communication from the University of South Florida- Tampa, where she graduated Cum Laude. After graduation, Theresa worked at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino assisting guests on the gaming floor while ensuring compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations. Theresa then attended Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley law school, where she earned her Juris Doctor and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
While in law school Theresa served as the Senior Resource Editor for Law Review, receiving the John D. Voelker award for her significant contributions to the publication of Law Review as a senior editor. Theresa also maintained a clerkship with the Honorable John Badalamenti at Florida’s Second District Court of Appeals. In addition, Theresa held leadership positions with the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society.
Theresa’s passion is to help her clients find comfort and support during stressful and challenging times by providing legal guidance and advice. Theresa understands that each family has different needs and that every case is different, and is committed to communicating effectively and efficiently with all clients.
Outside of the office, Theresa enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her dog. Theresa is licensed to practice law in Colorado.
